1st Prize Outdoor, Copa Del Sol, Peru 2018
Through a Dutch Passion friend in Belgium, the Dutch Passion breeders team got their hands on one of the fruitiest strains they’ve encountered in a long time. This superb clone came from a beautiful Sweet Pink Grapefruit mother and when sampling the end product of this fruity genetic, our test team were blown away by the smell and taste of this strain. You can both smell and taste where this variety got it’s name from.
The yields of this variety were good, but after our breeders team crossed this individual with an original Orange Bud® clone, yields were increased to the next level and the fruity smell and amazing sweet taste were preserved. The result is something to be proud of and she was announced as “Passion Fruit®” If you are looking for some smokable fruit, then Passion Fruit® is the strain for you!

A truly beautiful plant in every way!
When I saw Passion Fruit, I looked at the parents & bought it immediately. Strictly personal, grown in 11 litre smart pots & plagron under 600-660 watt HPS, five plants per square metre, each topped to eight branches one in middle to 4, probably better with 4 plants, if you top as PF is a very vigorous grower & it got a bit cramped leading to chopping one branch off two plants.
Started under T5's for two weeks before going into tent & as soon as I potted up they exploded. Beautiful slender leaves & general growth pattern let's light through but a little leafy so some leaf removal was done.
After 20 days veg, light was flipped, took approx 10 days to show first flowers but once started flowering was fast & even, you could almost see the growth day by day!
As said very uniform, one had a more indica look & about 8-9 inches shorter however, smell, taste everything was the same only different shaped buds, all plants had a lovely Grapefruit/Orange smell growing, truly yummy. Oh & leaves turn to a Purple, lilac colour as do earliest finishing buds.
I usually wait until cured for 3 months before testing, only then do I really appreciate the flavours etc but a sneaky smoke confirmed what was already evident, lovely taste, lovely well balanced high, from the fact it's a 50/50 cross. Something reminded me of the old days in the smoke, not sure what, maybe the OB in the cross. Think it's actually not far off tasting like Passion Fruit.
Overall, the total came out at about 1 gram per watt slightly over, leaning more towards 600 than 500 gems psm.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, for the flavours, high, yield is good but for me quality comes before quantity, good yield was a bonus. Top shelf medication for whatever ails you.
Respect to the team.
