Argentina. 150,000 march in protest for legal cannabis

A protest in Buenos Aires saw 150,000 protestors in a call for legal cannabis.  The march was led by families of medical users currently imprisoned for using cannabis, and went through the city ending at Congress.  The protest also demanded an end to raids, arrests and a stop to criminal proceedings to those already facing prosecution.  The protest also called for the regulation of cannabis social clubs and access to cannabis seeds, along with a full medical cannabis licensing system.  Although politicians in Argentina are moving slowly to a more compassionate system progress has been slow and cannabis activists in Argentina are pushing hard for more rapid change.
