Chile. Sativex cannabis spray approved



Sativex cannabis spray from GW Pharmaceuticals has been approved for use in Chile.  The cost of the legal cannabis extract will have to be paid by the patient and initially it is expected to be used for Breast Cancer and Lupus, which is something of a surprise - most countries that have approved the sale of Sativex have done so with MS as the primary treatment.  

However, it is refreshing to see so many countries approving the use of Sativex, which contains THC and CBD, both of which are found naturally in cannabis.  No doubt there are many different medical applications for Sativex, the coming years will reveal many of them
