Greece Legalises Medical Cannabis

Greece has joined the growing list of countries who have legalized the medical use of cannabis. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras told journalists at a press conference that doctors will soon be able to prescribe cannabis for a variety of medical conditions.

Around the world, cannabis is now prescribed for a range of medical conditions including muscle spasms, chronic pain, PTSD, epilepsy, cancer and many others.  Prime Minister Tsipras went on to say that “From now on, the country is turning its page, as Greece is now included in countries where the delivery of medical cannabis to patients in need is legal.”
So far limited details have been given about how this will affect home grown self sufficient cannnabis growing, or whether the system will allow initially for imported cannabis from countries such as The Netherlands.
