Hawaii Senator Russell Ruderman believes that Hawaii should be the next state to take advantage of the relaxing American attitude towards cannabis.
Ruderman said he is representing the views of his constituency on the issue and believes legalization would save the state millions and benefit the economy, including tourism.
“Fundamentally, it’s time,” he said. “It’s high time.”
The proposal would allow legal weed for those aged 21 and over, and many are hoping that Hawaii will push the proposal through and allow free access to recreational and medical marijuana
