Ireland has surprised a few people when Irish legislators in their Government passed a bill to make cannabis legal for medicinal use. The government said it would not stand in the way or object to the proposals, guaranteeing that they will pass and become law.

The bill will legalise and regulate cannabis products for those suffering serious illnesses like cancer, multiple sclerosis and fibromyalgia, as well as people who live with chronic pain. The new cannabis plans for Ireland come after numerous US states, and many countries such as Canada, and some South American countries have started to relax cannabis prohibition as medical science finally proves cannabis has multiple health benefits.
