Jamaica. Applications for cannabis licenses starts on April 4th

Blue AutoMazar

Following the decision to license and regulate the supply of cannabis the Jamaican Government have announced that the application for licenses starts on April 4th.  Various licenses are available for a variety of activities including cannabis growing, retail, research, distribution, bud trimming services etc.  All applications have to come from people that are already residents of Jamaica, and in a generous move the Government have removed application fee’s from all small growers to encourage a ‘cottage industry’ feel to the emerging legal cannabis market on Jamaica.
With the right backing the Jamaican cannabis industry could become as successful as Amsterdam has become to European cannabis culture.  More news on the Jamaican legalisation story is here
