LA Times wants legal recreational cannabis

The Los Angeles Times has published an editorial explaining why it wants California to vote ‘yes’ to proposition 64 and legalize the recreational use of cannabis.  The LA Times explains that the time has come to remove cannabis completely from the hands of the black market and make it taxable and fully regulated.  The LA Times also comments on the changing politics of cannabis, with Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton both stop wasting federal funds on cannabis.  The article would have been unimaginable just a decade or two ago, and it shows how the debate on cannabis has matured.  The article also gives a valuable insight into the way the average American now wants to see cannabis laws based on justice rather than prejudice.  The full article is here and well worth reading.
