Serbia. Politicians start preparing to legalize medical marijuana

Serbia.  Serbia is preparing to legalize the use of medical marijuana.  However, Slavica Dejanovic from the Ministry of Health was quick to point out that this does not mean it will be legalized for recreational use as well.  The Serbian approval of medical marijuana comes as numerous other areas of the world are following the American example and developing a system of medical regulation.
Serbian Politicians have been liaising with medical advisors who have seen significant medical benefits for patients suffering from conditions including MS and cancer, with pain relief, appetite enhancement and improved happiness.  Healthcare officials have liaised with their Belgrade political colleagues and see no conflicts or difficulties with the use of medical marijuana which they see as a proven and safe organic and natural alternative to modern (and often expensive) pharmaceuticals
